Tuesday Evening Men’s Study
7:00 – 8:00 PM BY ZOOM
Our time together begins with fellowship and prayer. Usually, we have a Scripture to read or review from our study book. Then we study by discussing the questions from our lesson.
During the discussion, the men are free to raise situations or issues that they are facing. Our goal is to go beyond knowledge and understanding to gain wisdom. We do that by thinking of ways to apply God’s truth to our lives. We have 3 rules: 1) We try to be prepared to answer the questions. 2) We don’t give advice but offer counsel. 3) Everything is to be held confidential. We always close with prayer requests and prayer.
We are very informal and enjoy getting to know each other. Many of our men are older, mature Christians, and all of us wish to be all that Christ would have us to be.
This is a great time to join in! We are currently studying, James: The Relationship Between Faith and Works by David Jeremiah.

Sunday Morning Schedule
Join other students and some of our female leaders in reading through “Made for Friendship” by Drew Hunter. We will meet throughout the summer to review each chapter and have discussion about friendship.
Together, we will learn what God’s design for friendship is – both with him and with others – and work toward becoming better friends, developing deeper friendships with others, and understanding why God values friendship with us.
There will be two separate studies – one during the day on Wednesdays for girls going into grades 6-12, and one during the evenings for grades 9-12.

Who: High school students and leaders
When: Thursday, June 13, 6:30 am – late!
Where: Meet at South Church and we will drive vans.
What: Your ticket includes an unlimited drinks wristband. The park is cashless, so bring a card, or you will be able to put money onto a debit card while there. Registration is required for this event, and once tickets are purchased after the registration deadline of May 24, you are responsible for paying for yours.

Friday, June 21 is the day that our 5th graders become middle schoolers and our 8th graders move up to high school! Students, come celebrate with us and welcome the incoming classes into the Student Ministry. We’ll have lunch at the church and enjoy some games together. 12:45-3 pm (right after VBS ends).
All other grades will move up in the fall.
