This year’s Men’s Huddle will be the first week of Camp Barakel’s Men’s Retreats October 15-17. You can register online (http://www.campbarakel.org/events/fall-mens) or by mail (pick up an application from the display table). Cost $115. Don’t forget to designate that you are with South Church so that you will be put in lodging with the rest of our group. Also, please let Pastor Tim know if you would like to carpool (tvanloh@southlife.org). Register ASAP as these retreats have filled up quickly in past years.

6:30 pm – Missionary Mixer This is a new AFTER dinner event. Missionaries will be set up in different rooms of the church. When you arrive, you will pick up 3 tickets (depending on which missionary you’d like to hear). Ticket times are 6:30, 6:55, and 7:20 – tickets are on a first-come, first-serve basis). You will enjoy rotating through the rooms, following the time on your tickets. Everyone is invited to come and mix with our missionaries (childcare is not provided).

6:30 pm – Closing Program in the Chapel.
Come and hear about the stages of Tribal Church Planting – a panel discussion between Brad & Amber Jones (finishing well), Jared & Mel Currie (new church plant), and Jacob & Charis Doerr (new church planters). Dave Ford will follow with a CLAY Center update and a devotional.

SPUR: Spiritual Prompting Unto Righteousness
SPUR is devoted to prompting spiritual growth and leadership among men.
Spur is made up of meaningful times of prayer, bible study, book study, sharing, learning and growing in our walk with Jesus. Currently, we are studying the book, Knowing God by J. I. Packer. This book has been an important tool to help Christians around the world discover the wonder, the glory and the joy of knowing God.
New believer or seasoned believer, if you want to learn how to walk with Jesus, come join us and we will learn and grow together. New people, age 21+, are always welcome and can jump in anytime. We meet the 1st & 3rd Friday of each month at Panera Bread in the Frandor Plaza with a start time of 7am.
