Want to pray for our missionaries? Join the International Ministries Prayer Team from 5:30 – 6:30 pm in the Board Room every Wednesday evening. They also pray for needs of the church, as well as unreached people groups. Contact Fred or Janice Nose for more information.
6:30 pm – Missionary Mixer This is a new AFTER dinner event. Missionaries will be set up in different rooms of the church. When you arrive, you will pick up 3 tickets (depending on which missionary you’d like to hear). Ticket times are 6:30, 6:55, and 7:20 – tickets are on a first-come, first-serve basis). You will enjoy rotating through the rooms, following the time on your tickets. Everyone is invited to come and mix with our missionaries (childcare is not provided).
12:00 noon – Ladies’ Lunch in the Commons – come and enjoy a special time of yummy salad lunch, fellowship and a Q&A with our guest missionaries, and learning how we can better pray for them. We need volunteers to bring a salad to pass. Sign up on the insert and/or at the conference table.
7:15 pm All Church Gathering in the South Life Center. Sign up and come for a light meal and a time of fellowshipping with our guest missionaries.
12:00 noon – Senior Adult/Mission Focus in the Commons. Come for a yummy lunch and a great time of fellowship with our missionaries!
7:00 am – Men’s Breakfast in the Commons. Come for a great breakfast and hear an update/short message from Steve Schmidt
7:00 pm – Communion Service in the Chapel. Join us for worship, communion and short message
6:30 pm – Closing Program in the Chapel.
Come and hear about the stages of Tribal Church Planting – a panel discussion between Brad & Amber Jones (finishing well), Jared & Mel Currie (new church plant), and Jacob & Charis Doerr (new church planters). Dave Ford will follow with a CLAY Center update and a devotional.
MOSAIC MINISTRIES: Don’t sit home alone this New Years Eve! 12-31-2021. Join other Senior Adult Singles for an evening for food and fun until the ball drops and a new year begins. We will start by meeting for dinner at Logan’s Steakhouse at 5 pm. After dinner we will head over to South Church where we will carpool over to Verndale Apartments. The community room is reserved for fun and games. Verndale Apartments does not offer much parking for guests, so carpooling from the church is a good option. Bring games and some favorite snacks and beverages.
Join us next Saturday, January 15th, to be a volunteer at Upscale Thrift Store, 3700 W Saginaw St, in Lansing. We will help the staff wherever they need our help. Itmay be hanging up clothes, tagging clothes, putting goods on the floor. This was quite fun when we did thisa couple of years ago. Please join us!
