The children of South Church will be presenting “Three Wee Kings”, a Christmas musical on December 12 at 6:00 p.m. in South’s Worship Center. This is an adaptation of the well-loved story of the Magi who followed the Star to kind the King. This musical fantasy brings together kings, shepherds, angels, camels, donkeys, goats, lambs, lions, and even talking stars. Each group discusses who is to be THE King, wondering if one from their group will be chosen. The journey ends at the manger where the angels show them all that the King is a human baby, who will be called The Good Shepherd, Lamb of God, King of Kings and Bright and Morning Star.
This is a great way to kick-off the Christmas season and keep our focus on the reason we celebrate. A reception will be held afterward. All are welcome!
