“Risen Christ, Conquering King” Come worship through the enjoyment of the arts as South Church Worship Ministry presents this year’s Easter Cantata. There will be two nights to attend: April 6 and 7, both at 6 pm. This cantata will include elements of film, drama, solos, and contemporary music presented by our own choir and orchestra. There will also be a special selection sung by Adontes, a vocal group from South.
Invite your friends, family, and neighbors and come celebrate our Risen King through this quality musical presentation.
We are currently offering two morning services – the Creative Service in the Chapel, and the Balanced Service in the Worship Center. Adult Bible Communities, children’s ministries and nursery are offered during both services.

The Kingdom Rock Choir rehearsals take place on Sunday evenings at 6 PM, from September 17th until the Spring show in May. This kids’ choir is for students from 3rd grade to 7th grade, to ensure children who missed a year because of Covid shut-downs are able to participate.

The pathway to church membership begins Saturday, April 13, 2024. Come learn more about membership at South. Enjoy a great discussion, fellowship, and light refreshments with our pastors and deacons. Three Sunday sessions will follow at 9:30 am on April 14, April 21 and April 28. Church Membership
Church membership is about belonging to one another and becoming like Jesus. It is the way for individual Christians to make their formal commitment to the South Church family. In becoming a church member, individuals express their submission to the leadership of the church in accordance with the teaching of Scripture and the doctrinal statement of South Church.
Requirements for South Church Membership:
- Personal profession of faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
- Committed to corporate worship and personal devotion to Christ and His Word.
- Baptism as a believer—at South Church we practice believer’s baptism by immersion. According to the command of Jesus himself and consistent with New Testament teaching, those who have consciously turned from their sin and put their personal faith in Jesus Christ should be baptized as an outward sign of their commitment to Him as Savior and Lord.
- Membership Course—attend The Membership Course that is normally offered three times during the year.
