Pray for our college ministry leaving on Friday, March 3 for their spring break trip to Florida (March 3-11). Pray for quality time in the Word and for open hearts to receive the gospel.
This trip is a time of small group Bible discussions, teaching, fun activities, going to the beach and just hanging out. Our vision is to grow in our love for Christ and one another as well as invite our non-believing friends to see Christ’s love through our fellowship, conversations and teaching times. Cost is $495 for transportation, condos and some of the food. (You’ll need to bring spending money for some meals…more details to come)

I Will Survive and Thrive – is a support group for women with cancer and cancer survivors. The group typically meets on the first Monday of each month, in the Fireside Room from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm.

MARCH 9 – We will work on baby & hospice quilts, and enjoy a demo on rotary cutting techniques.
If you enjoy sewing or helping, this is a great way to use your talents. This group of ladies meets the second Thursday of each month (September – May) at the church at 9:00am. A potluck lunch is served at noon, followed by devotions and a business meeting.
Types of sewing projects:
- Quilt squares are cut, pieced and tied-off into quilts for missionaries, organizations and needy people
- Goody-bags are made and filled with grooming items for children at Youth Haven Ranch
- Bibs and lap robes are made for nursing homes
- Bags are made for walkers
Gather with other women the 2nd Saturday of each month as we pray for the ministries of our church, community and world. We are will be meeting in person. Join us upstairs in room 205 at 8:30 am for an hour.

Faith and Fire: Elijah
Old Testament heroes are best known for their most celebrated moments: Moses dividing the Red Sea; David slaying Goliath; Gideon routing an insurmountable army; Joshua marching around the defiant walls of Jericho. And Elijah—calling down fire on Mount Carmel. Blinded by the remarkable narratives of our biblical heroes, we can forget they each had a backstory—months and years of development, even difficulty, which fortified their spiritual muscle and prepared them for the tasks that made their lives unforgettable.
Every serious believer longs to summon up the kind of boldness and faith that can stand firm on Mount Carmel and pray down heaven into impossible situations. Yet few are willing to go through the process required to get them there. Strength of faith, character, and boldness can only be shaped in the hidden fires of silence, sameness, solitude, and adversity. Those who patiently wait on God in the darkness emerge with their holy loyalty cemented, their courage emblazoned, and their confident belief in Him set afire.
Join us on this 7-session journey through the life and times of the prophet Elijah to discover how the fire on Mount Carmel was forged in the valley of famine. And how the emboldened, fiery faith you desire is being fashioned by God in your life right now.
