“Raised Together: Colossians” (Gloria Furman)

“By HIM all things hold together.” Colossians 1:17

Paul’s letter to the church at Colossae encourages believers to live out the reality of the doctrine of Christ—He is God, He is supreme, and He is sufficient. We have been buried and raised to life with Him as new creations, knit together in love.
In 8 sessions, explore themes of foundational Christian doctrine through verse-by-verse study of Colossians. Learn who Christ is, who you are in Him, and how to grow and mature in your faith.

Facilitated by Eileen Ellis in Room 201. Workbook $16.

SPUR: Spiritual Prompting Unto Righteousness

SPUR is devoted to prompting spiritual growth and leadership among men.

Spur is made up of meaningful times of prayer, bible study, book study, sharing, learning and growing in our walk with Jesus. Currently, we are studying the book, Knowing God by J. I. Packer. This book has been an important tool to help Christians around the world discover the wonder, the glory and the joy of knowing God.

New believer or seasoned believer, if you want to learn how to walk with Jesus, come join us and we will learn and grow together. New people, age 21+, are always welcome and can jump in anytime. We meet the 1st & 3rd Friday of each month at Panera Bread in the Frandor Plaza with a start time of 7am.

College Spring Break @ From South to Florida

Pray for our college ministry leaving on Friday, March 4 for their spring break trip to Florida (March 4-12). Pray for quality time in the Word and for open hearts to receive the gospel.

This trip is a time of small group Bible discussions, teaching, fun activities, going to the beach and just hanging out. Our vision is to grow in our love for Christ and one another as well as invite our non-believing friends to see Christ’s love through our fellowship, conversations and teaching times. The deadline for sign up will be February 4th. Cost is $450 for transportation, condos and some of the food. (You’ll need to bring spending money for some meals…more details to come)

“None Like Him: 10 Ways God is Different Than Us” (Jen Wilkin)

God is self-existent, self-sufficient, eternal, immutable, omnipresent, omniscient, omnipotent, sovereign, infinite, and incomprehensible. We’re not. And that’s a good thing.

Our limitations are by design. We were never meant to be God. But at the root of every sin is our rebellious desire to possess attributes that belong to God alone. Calling us to embrace our limits as a means of glorifying God’s limitless power, Jen Wilkin invites us to celebrate the freedom that comes when we rest in letting God be God.

Facilitated by Terri Bettinger by Zoom.  Book $10.00.
