SPUR is devoted to prompting spiritual growth and leadership among men. Spur is made up of meaningful times of prayer, Bible study, book study, sharing, learning and growing in our walk with Jesus. New believer or seasoned believer, if you want to learn how to walk with Jesus, come join us and we will learn and grow together. New men, age 21+, are always welcome and can jump in anytime.

Gather with other women the 2nd Saturday of each month as we pray for the ministries of our church, community and world. We are will be meeting in person. Join us upstairs in room 205 at 8:30 am for an hour.
We are currently offering two morning services – the Creative Service in the Chapel, and the Balanced Service in the Worship Center. Adult Bible Communities, children’s ministries and nursery are offered during both services.

Sunday Morning Schedule

Volunteers!
We need volunteers to help prepare and serve food to our middle school students during the week of July 9-15 for Impact Lansing. Sign up for one of the meals as a small group, or just yourself, and come get a glimpse of the week. For a hungry middle school student, not all heroes wear capes. Most of the time, they wear aprons.

This camp is for exiting 6-8th graders (kids who were in6th, 7th, and 8th grade during the 2022-23 school year), and takes place July9-15. The cost of $249 is all-inclusive. If you’d like more information, contactPastor Joel or Jessica.

Tuesday Evening Men’s Study
7:00 – 8:00 PM BY ZOOM
Our time together begins with fellowship and prayer. Usually, we have a Scripture to read or review from our study book. Then we study by discussing the questions from our lesson.
During the discussion, the men are free to raise situations or issues that they are facing. Our goal is to go beyond knowledge and understanding to gain wisdom. We do that by thinking of ways to apply God’s truth to our lives. We have 3 rules: 1) We try to be prepared to answer the questions. 2) We don’t give advice but offer counsel. 3) Everything is to be held confidential. We always close with prayer requests and prayer.
We are very informal and enjoy getting to know each other. Many of our men are older, mature Christians, and all of us wish to be all that Christ would have us to be.
This is a great time to join in! We are currently studying, James: The Relationship Between Faith and Works by David Jeremiah.

Widower’s Bible Study

Widowers, come join Dick Ranshaw for an informal study of Knowing God by J.I. Packer. This is a rich time studying God’s Word and a great opportunity to connect with each other. Together, we will grow in our walk with the Lord.
