Please join the Legacy Group on a trip to the Frederik Meijer Gardens July 26th. We will meet at the Church at 9AM and carpool to the Gardens. We will have a tour on the trams around the entire garden. They have a nice lunch planned for us as well. The cost of the event is $40 and that includes lunch. Love Clothing Center provides clothing for school age children who cannot afford to buy new. As we are getting close to the start of school year let’s help them get ready. Suggested donation items are:
- Boys’ boxer briefs size 4-20
- Girls’ underwear size 4-12
- socks all sizes and types of girls, boys, men’s and women.
Bring them August 4 and 11 to the table in the gathering space or near the East entrance. There will be a donation box for items that are missing.
God is sending the nations to South. Over the last few years South has begun to intentionally minister to Lansing’s refugees. Beginning 8/11 at 5 pm we will be meeting monthly for refugee outreach prayer. Please join us in the Fireside Room.
