“Trustworthy” (Lysa TerKeurst)
When hard times come and it seems God is deviating from the plan we assume our life should follow, we’re much more likely to want to tame God, not trust Him. It’s then that we begin to press into our ways and our own timing. No human can carry the weight of being their own god, but so many of us try. In this 6-session study of 1 & 2 Kings we will be reminded time and again of God’s unfailing Trustworthiness.
Room 201, Facilitated by Dawna Kilgore. **Workbooks are available on Amazon or Lifeway.com for this study

“Unexpected” – a great event where you will meet new friends, have tons of fun and leave encouraged.
Wear your brightest tropical outfit to dinner in Paradise! Tickets ($8) will be available at the Women’s Ministry Gazebo beginning August 7th. We can’t give you all the details because then it wouldn’t be ‘unexpected’ but we can say it will be like a night in Paradise.

Even Better Than Eden
Nine Ways the Bible’s Story Changes Everything about Your Story
Even Better than Eden will help Christians of all ages grow in their grasp of how glorious Jesus is and help them long for the day when we get to see him face-to-face. Guthrie has written with both a clarity and richness of ideas that will set you off on the path to enjoy the whole story of Scripture for the rest of your life. This book is a gospel-soaked, scripture-laden, joy-filled message about what a Christian’s hope is in–the glory to be revealed when Jesus returns, and we get to dwell with God. Are you suffering? Read this book and let it point you, through the analysis of themes throughout scripture, to the hope that is yours in Christ.
Facilitated by Darla Daugherty, Pre-Register to order your book & study guide, $18 – (Option: Study Guide only $5)
