“Elijah” (Priscilla Shirer)
Old Testament heroes are best known for their most celebrated moments: Moses dividing the Red Sea; David slaying Goliath; Gideon routing an insurmountable army; Joshua marching around the defiant walls of Jericho.
And Elijah—calling down fire on Mount Carmel. Every serious believer longs to summon up the kind of boldness and faith that can stand firm on Mount Carmel and pray down heaven into impossible situations. Yet few are willing to go through the process required to get them there. Strength of faith, character, and boldness can only be shaped in the hidden fires of silence, sameness, solitude, and adversity. Those who patiently wait on God in the darkness emerge with their holy loyalty cemented, their courage emblazoned, and their confident belief in Him set afire.
Facilitated by Dawna Kilgore in Room 201, Workbook $16.

Grief Share is a 13 week program beginning Jan 13, 2022. You don’t have to go through the grieving process alone. Find help at Grief Share. Be a part of a caring group of people who will walk alongside each other through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Thursdays 6-8 pm. Room 205. To RSVP, please text or call Jackie 517-622-0024 or Tami 517-281-7631.

“Raised Together: Colossians” (Gloria Furman)
“By HIM all things hold together.” Colossians 1:17
Paul’s letter to the church at Colossae encourages believers to live out the reality of the doctrine of Christ—He is God, He is supreme, and He is sufficient. We have been buried and raised to life with Him as new creations, knit together in love.
In 8 sessions, explore themes of foundational Christian doctrine through verse-by-verse study of Colossians. Learn who Christ is, who you are in Him, and how to grow and mature in your faith.
Facilitated by Eileen Ellis in Room 201. Workbook $16.
