Youth Basketball – the first three practices for the PeeWee (boys and girls) team are: Tuesday, October 25th; Monday, October 31st and Tuesday, November 15th. All practices are from 5:25pm to 6:50pm in the South Life Center (gym). Age eligibility is 7½ to 11, (if 11th birthday is after 9-1-2022. Come to a special church service to worship the Lord and give thanks for all He has done for us on Tuesday, November 22 at 7:00 pm. We have much to be thankful for. A pie social will follow in the South Life Center. Please bring a pie and deliver it to the kitchen prior to the service.
Tuesday Evening Men’s Study
7:00 – 8:00 PM BY ZOOM
Our time together begins with fellowship and prayer. Usually, we have a Scripture to read or review from our study book. Then we study by discussing the questions from our lesson.
During the discussion, the men are free to raise situations or issues that they are facing. Our goal is to go beyond knowledge and understanding to gain wisdom. We do that by thinking of ways to apply God’s truth to our lives. We have 3 rules: 1) We try to be prepared to answer the questions. 2) We don’t give advice but offer counsel. 3) Everything is to be held confidential. We always close with prayer requests and prayer.
We are very informal and enjoy getting to know each other. Many of our men are older, mature Christians, and all of us wish to be all that Christ would have us to be.
This is a great time to join in! We are currently studying, James: The Relationship Between Faith and Works by David Jeremiah.

Widower’s Bible Study

Choir rehearsals are under way for this December’s Christmas cantata. Rehearsals will start this week at 7:15PM on Wednesdays. Come out and sing with the South Church Choir and Orchestra. No audition necessary. (The cantata will be performed on Dec. 3 & 4)
