Precept Inductive Bible Study: Galatians
Would you like to learn how to study the Bible inductively? In Precept Upon Precept, we study the text of the Bible and learn to discover Truth for ourselves. We will start this fall in the book of Galatians and we will learn so much! As the gospel spread across the Roman world in the first decades after Jesus’ earthly ministry, conflict arose. Jews and Gentiles were believing the gospel, and a struggle over what it meant to be a Christian began. What does it mean to live under grace? Do you have to keep the Law to be a Christian? Over 7 sessions, examine the historical and cultural climate of first-century Middle Eastern society to not only understand Jesus more deeply but to fuel your worship of Him today.

This book has been an important tool to help Christians around the world discover the wonder, the glory and the joy of knowing God.
New believer or seasoned believer, if you want to learn how to walk with Jesus, come join us and we will learn and grow together. New people, age 21+, are always welcome and can jump in anytime. We meet the 1st & 3rd Friday of each month at Panera Bread in the Frandor Plaza with a start time of 7am.

Each month, Men of South gather for prayer the first Saturday, in room 205 and over Zoom online at 8:30AM. This Saturday will be a much-needed, powerful time of joining together in prayer. Men, please come, and let’s pray for revival for our church, our city, our state, our country and our world.“The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” James 5:16

Many of us want God’s Word to dwell richly in us, but life can get in the way. We’d never intentionally write chapters of confusion, failure, loss, pain, conflict, or suffering into our stories. No one plans to wrestle with her identity in Christ, to struggle to love her husband, to feel lonely in ministry, or to feel helpless in motherhood. Yet we often find ourselves in these seasons, struggling to embrace the gospel hope we need to fill our discouraged souls.
Join this study on the Book of Colossians as we learn to practice of preaching gospel truth to ourselves by studying Paul’s example. In every changing season of life, we can rest in God’s character, rehearse our identity in Christ, respond in faith, and remember God’s provision for us. In today’s culture, there’s no shortage of self help, easy fixes, and worldly advice, but only the truth of God’s Word was meant to fill you up and satisfy you fully.
