Freedom Market – The Women’s South Asia Teams will be hosting a ‘Freedom Market’ during this year’s Mission Conference to raise awareness for rescue ministries in India. We are partnering with “Love Calcutta Arts” to support their ministry by providing an opportunity for you to “shop for a cause.”
The scarring influence of the sex trade does not affect only one generation in India. Desperate mothers often leave a legacy of poverty and prostitution to their daughters who are forced into the same predicament because they know no other lifestyle.
Enter Love Calcutta Arts. This artisan group’s handicrafts unit enables young women to support themselves with dignity and help their mothers leave the sex industry. These hardworking women make high-quality handmade paper products, including journals and cards, in a loving environment where they learn of their heavenly Father’s love for them.
Women’s Bible Studies
Winter Studies begin in mid-January
All women in the Lansing area are invited to join a Bible Study at South.
Classes meet once a week from September to early December.
Please register two weeks in advance of class start date to allow us time to order workbooks and have them ready for you to pick up at the first session of your study. (Late registrations are welcome and we invite you to join a class at any time during the study. Check with your leader about the availability of extra books when you arrive.)

Visions of Christmas… SOLD OUT Visions is an inspiring evening for women to gather for a light meal at beautifully decorated tables followed by a meaningful message of Hope. Tuesday evening, December 10th Special guest dramatists, Jessica and Veronica will reflect on the plan of God from the first woman of creation, Eve to the life of Mary, the mother of Messiah. Eve knew the world the way God created it to be, yet she walked away from God and into brokenness and her actions resulted in death. Mary lived in a broken world, and saw the promised Messiah come to redeem it and offer life to the world. From Eve to Mary, God had a plan for his world, and for each of us. From lament to redemption, there was always hope. If you were unable to get tickets before we sold out you are welcome to attend the program portion of the night around 7:15 pm. There is no charge, please go directly to the Worship Center when you arrive. WE NEED VOLUNTEERS!
