Women’s Bible Studies

Winter Studies begin in mid-January

All women in the Lansing area are invited to join a Bible Study at South.
Classes meet once a week from September to early December.

Please register two weeks in advance of class start date to allow us time to order workbooks and have them ready for you to pick up at the first session of your study. (Late registrations are welcome and we invite you to join a class at any time during the study. Check with your leader about the availability of extra books when you arrive.)

	Luke in the Land by Kristi McLelland In our Bibles, we have four Gospels describing Jesus’s time on earth: Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. The land of Israel—the place Jesus walked and taught during His earthly ministry—is often referred to as the “fifth Gospel.” Follow Kristi McLelland through Israel as we study snapshots from the Gospel of Luke to see where the stories of the Bible took place. Over 7 sessions in this Bible study workbook, challenge the way you read the accounts of Jesus through teaching videos that take you to locations in Israel like Bethlehem, the Sea of Galilee, Gethsemane, Jerusalem, and the road to Emmaus. Along the way, you’ll see how Jesus, the Messiah, brought His kingdom to earth for everybody. 	“Inductive Bible Study of Revelation, Ch. 4-22” a Precept Study Ladies, come study the book of Revelation inductively! Inductive Bible study is a method of studying that allows you to discover for yourself what Scripture says and means. You will learn methods of observation, interpretation, and application. Our goal: to know God better and let the Truth of God’s Word transform us! In Revelation chapters 4-22, God reveals what will happen in end times. Beginning this September, we will learn WHAT GOD SAYS, in the book of Revelation. We will discover the events that will take place, as revealed by God in His Word. 	When Faith Becomes Sight: Heaven by Jennifer Rothschild Heaven. Who goes there? Where is it? What will we do there? Questions like these arise when we consider an eternal future beyond this physical life. How can we know the truth about what comes next? In this 7-session video-based Bible study workbook, Jennifer Rothschild explores the subject of Heaven from a biblical perspective. She will separate what’s true about Heaven from what’s based on legend, media depictions, and hopeful guesses. As you walk through the study, you’ll not only gain a deeper understanding of what God has prepared for His children, but also learn how to live with confidence today as you look forward to the glorious unending that awaits. Don’t just wonder about Heaven—embrace it with a faith that turns anticipation into excitement and peace. South Asia Team Project Night – Take Two

Project Night “TAKE TWO”

Tuesday, Jan. 28th, 6:00 pm (or after as your schedule permits) in Room 111.

Come and help us finish the preparation of craft projects for the conferences we will host in March. We expect over 400 women to attend these conferences and will be working on putting kits together for earrings, bead bracelets, and gifts. All of the projects are easy assembly and the earrings need priming.

Visions of Christmas – December 2025

This outreach event is a great opportunity for you to invite women who need to hear and be transformed by the message of the gospel. A light meal and dessert are served at beautifully decorated tables hosted by women from South.

A gospel program will be presented in the Worship Center between the meal and dessert.

Watch for ticket information in November – This event sells out immediately, so plan ahead.

If you volunteer to decorate and host a table you will have the opportunity to purchase tickets at your table in advance if you chose. Watch for Hostess Sign-Up in September.
