South Fest is something very special we love to share with our friends and neighbors. Dinner, concessions, carnival games, rides, inflatables, a classic car show, and a concert…and everything is free! Come one,come all!
South Fest is September 11, 2022!
Due to the weather, South Fest is moving indoors! Many of the planned elements will not be available, such as games and rides, but dinner (and desserts, as well as popcorn and snow cones,) will be served at 4PM. A concert featuring four different South Church bands will be held at 5PM, and there will be a scene set up for photographs.
What is South Fest? For South Church, South Fest is something very special we love to share with our friends and neighbors. After all of this social distancing, it will be a joy to gather again!
South Fest! Cotton candy – a mass of fluffy spun sugar, usually pink or white, wrapped around a stick or a paper cone. …consumed in great quantities at South Fest! We make it for the kids…right?
South Fest! Face painting is an all-time-favorite South Fest activity. Do you have any pics of works of art on sweet faces from years gone by? post them to the comments!
Inflatables
South Fest! Climb a wall, whoosh down a slide, bounce, and make your way across an extreme obstacle course! Super-fun. Check out these pics from prior years…but we have new attractions on the way.
Project Kid Sight Vision Screening at South Fest
While enjoying South Fest on September 11, bring your children age 6 months to 6 years to Project Kid Sight. Some problems that can permanently affect vision are best treated at an early age. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity for free and early vision screening. Project Kid Sight is brought to you courtesy of local Lions Club volunteers. We are grateful for them!
South Fest Classic Car Show
They just don’t make them like these anymore! While you are enjoying all that South Fest offers, stop by the classic car show. Be sure to thank the classic car owners for bringing their cars, and remember to vote for your favorite. This will be fun!
