Come hungry and enjoy dinner and concessions. Children will love our giant slide, bumper cars, obstacle course, bounce houses & carnival games. Stroll through a classic car show and top off the evening with lively and uplifting musical performances by several bands, featuring the Thurstons.
The Thurstons – Michigan’s First Family of Gospel Music Topping off the evening, South Church welcomes the Thurstons. Dave & Marni Thurston, based in Holt, travel with their longtime friend, Monty Bishop, singing and sharing the gospel. Their desire is to encourage the body of Christ and uplift the Name of Jesus through their music and testimony. Their music and presentation of the word of God is inspiring and their energy is contagious. The Thurstons have had top 40 charting success with their songs, “I Am Blessed”, ‘God’s Word Will Stand”, and “God’s Been Faithful”. We are pleased to welcome them to South Fest!
At South Fest, September 10, watch for Project Kidsight, a free vision screening program for children of all ages. Our thanks to Lions Club volunteers for providing this valuable service! For more information, stop by the Project Kidsight table in the gathering space.
