The missions emphasis of South is to bring the glory of God to the nations of the world. Psalm 96.3-4a says “Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous deeds among all peoples, for great is the Lord and most worthy of praise.”

1. Coffee Hour
Every Friday during the academic school year from 4-6pm in the International Center food court, come meet international students, faculty, and staff for conversation over free coffee and tea! All are welcome and visitor parking is available across the street from the International Center. http://oiss.isp.msu.edu/about/feature/weekly-coffee-hour/
2. International Friendship Program
IFP is actively recruiting community members to join as Friends for international students and scholars. Friends will be matched with a student or scholar for the academic year, with the intention of meeting at least once per month to share cultural activities and build relationships. You can read more and find the application info here: http://cvip.isp.msu.edu/programs/international-friendship-program/ The deadline for this fall is September 12th, but the earlier the better!

What is a Missionary Care Group (MCG)? It is a small group of committed people who work together to care for their missionary in a variety of ways, striving to help meet their physical, emotional and spiritual needs. It is a group of people with whom the missionary can be open and honest, allowing them to see his/her needs and share his/her successes and challenges.
