And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another.
Who is Legacy?
Legacy is made up of mature retirees including a range of ages. No ID’s are checked in order to enter into fellowship with this group!
What is Legacy all about?
Come to Legacy events and enjoy Christ-centered friend- ships. We meet the 2nd Thursday of every month and encourage one another, spurring one another on toward love and good deeds. God’s word is central to our hearts and ministry.
Come, give it a try.
Be encouraged and enourage one another. Legacy members enjoy great fellowship through meals, trips, game nights, adventures, service projects, and interesting speakers.
This is a growing ministry and you are most welcome!
Legacy Senior Adult Ministry meets on the 2nd Thursday of every month. To find out what is currently happening, check out the Legacy Information Board near room 111, e‑mail or call Marilyn in the church office.
We have joined together to support widowed women as they struggle to handle the grief, pain, and loneliness of their loss. We offer fellowship, sharing, and hope with those who have walked this path in earlier days and have experienced God's healing grace.
Every third Thursday of each month, widows meet for lunch at various restaurants throughout the city. We meet to get to know one another, support one another and to just enjoy being with people who understand the journey we are on. We would love to have anyone who is on this journey join us. If you would like to know more about the Never Alone ministry, please call Carol Senard at 517/256-1122. If you would like to join us for a monthly lunch please contact Carol by Wednesday to RSVP as we need to reserve enough tables to accommodate everyone who will be attending.
To ease loneliness with a wide range of activities such as games, movies, dinners, outdoor activities, potlucks, concerts, service projects, etc. and to expand your circle of friends. It is also our desire to show love and support one another by being there for each other in Christ's love.
God's Word tells us we are to encourage one another, bear one another's burdens and to love one another as Christ loved us.
