Born and raised: Lansing, MI Education: 2 years of youth ministry degree at Moody Bible Institute Ministry Experience: Nursery Coordinator at South since fall of 2009 Spouse: Joel Wayner Kids: Maliya, Joshua, Avery, and Rylie Hobbies: Scrapbooking, reading, running Community Activities: Volunteer at Lansing Christian School Testimony: I had the priviledge of being raised in a Christian home, being taught the Word of God all my life. I came to saving faith in Jesus as a child, and continued to grow in my faith during my middle school and high school years through the influence of my youth group, church camps, and Lansing Christian School. In the early part of my time at Moody Bible Institute I was challenged to consider what it means to yield my life to Christ's Lordship, submitting to His will on a daily basis. These lessons brought me to a place of renewed commitment to the Lord, and they continue to spur me on as I learn to be increasingly dependant on Him. |
