New Year- New Discipline: Let’s get serious about Scripture memory!
Not your Grandma’s Bible Quizzing: Scripture Memory fun for all ages
Interested families and individuals of all ages are invited to join guest speaker Les Johnson (from Teen Bible Challenge) at South Church, Room 204, on Thursday evening, Jan. 12, 2017, at 7:00pm, for a great motivational seminar with lots of practical and fun ways to “get serious” about hiding God’s Word in your heart– without being too serious! 🙂
If you’ve ever said to yourself, “I can’t memorize”, or if you’ve had all kinds of good intentions about memorizing (or helping your children) memorize Scripture– that just haven’t worked out… then this seminar is for you! You won’t believe how much fun you’ll have and how quickly you will memorize key scriptures that will stay with you for life!
The object of this seminar is to help individuals of all ages, and families together, be successful in memorizing scripture– by engaging in a fun and exciting game show-like adventure. Attendees will learn several Bible verses through creative songs, rhymes, games and rhythms, to prepare those who want to participate in a friendly family/community Bible quiz competition in the spring.
Come join us and have a good time, as you start the new year with a renewed focus on Scripture memory– and maybe even win some candy, too! So we know how many to plan for, please RSVP by emailing Kim Winter by Tues, Jan 10 to let us know how many from YOUR family will be attending!
