Jeff Durow and his wife Diane met while doing their undergraduate coursework at Michigan State University. Jeff graduated with a bachelor of Psychology while Diane needed only 3 years to graduate from the James Madison and Honors College with an emphasis in social policy
During their time at MSU, they were members of South’s Cutting Edge Ministry and both experienced significant spiritual growth. Diane went on to the University of Michigan where she completed her Masters in Social Work. Jeff worked for the summer of ‘07 at SpringHill Camp with high school aged youth, and it was there that he felt God calling him into to full-time ministry. After the summer he became a youth ministries intern at Oak Pointe Church in Novi, MI and received instruction as well as practical experience in local church ministry.
Jeff and Diane were married on May 17, 2008. The day after they returned from their honeymoon, they left to serve once again at SpringHill, this time as a part of the Leadership Staff for the high school students. After the summer, Jeff began his seminary education at Michigan Theological Seminary pursuing a Master of Divinity degree in pastoral ministries.
They are delighted to be back in the Lansing area and are excited to see what God is going to do in them and through them during their time at South Church.
